With four full width and two half width drawers, our tall boy is the classic configuration to lay everything out in a perfectly ordered fashion. Keyline metal handles enhance the soothing symmetry which defines the Mallani range. Although created for the bedroom, this is perfectly adaptable piece that's as lovely for linen as it is for a sea of sweaters and socks.

 

100% Sheesham wood (Indian Rosewood) imported directly from Northern India.

 

Care details:  As each piece is hand waxed, we would strongly recommend the use of coasters and mats to protect the wood from marks caused by hot or wet items.

    • This is the third piece of Mallani furniture that we've bought - we love the design, and the quality is very good. This was replacing an old flat-pack chest of drawers, and this one should last a good few years longer - its lovely. On the downside, Myakka have now started using the Home Delivery Network, rather than the independent local couriers they used to use, which means you have to deal with the gormless staff at the HDNL call centre - they first tried to insist on delivery of this large, heavy item when we were out, but I managed to get it rearranged for a Monday, which I arranged to work from home. They then called back two days later, apparently unaware of the previous conversation, and said the delivery would be on the Tuesday, with no chance of it being moved back to the Monday. Pretty inconvenient, and a shame - the Home Delivery Network receives less than complimentary feedback online, so its unfortunate such a great company as Myakka has chosen to use them. We'll have to think twice about going through that rigmarole again, it takes the shine off the great furniture.

    • I have bought a number of items from Myakka, both from the Mallani range and Mumbai range (discontinued I think!) and have been truly impressed by the quality of the product and service from Myakka ... which is why I keep coming back! Everyone who visits comments on how lovely the furniture is and due to it's solid sturdy nature almost two years on from my first purchases they still look and feel as good as new!
