Unlike flimsy, modern bookcases, this sturdy design is hand crafted throughout from solid Indian rosewood, also known as Sheesham hardwood, to give it the strength and rigidity that makes it so dependable in daily use. Three sensibly spaced shelves and a drawer at the top take special care of everything and you still have the lustrous top surface for display.

100% Sheesham wood (Indian Rosewood) - fair trade furniture imported directly from Northern India.

Care details: As this bookcase is hand waxed, we would strongly recommend the use of coasters and mats to protect the wood from marks caused by hot or wet items.
