Our Myakka story begins in 1999, in picturesque Somerset with Georgie, Simon, a small but willing team and a puppy called Floe. Our sights were set on offering the best quality, affordable, fair trade furniture, so we began adventuring to India in search of our own direct suppliers. We now source all our ranges of beautiful furniture from one manufacturer and have built a solid relationship over many years of loyalty and trust.

Over a decade on, we’re still based in our draughty, old warehouse. It’s still Georgie and Simon at the helm and Floe mooches amiably around when she’s not snoozing in her bed like an older girl should.
