Product details

A wonderful find in our search for beautiful fair trade home accessories, this round mirror is made by artisans in Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh. The mirror frame has fret-carved detailing with a repeating pattern of stylised flowers which have been a popular decorative motif since the time of Shah Jahan, the fifth Mughal emperor, who reigned from 1628 to 1658. Overlaid on a circular glass mirror, the frame has a painted and lightly distressed finish. Hang it in the hallway, bedroom or any room of your home to add light and space as well as an interesting feature.

Wall fixings not included.

Service fast delivery and kept in contact all the way through. Item arrived well packaged Product I really like this mirror. The overall effect is lovely but it was much more 'distressed' than the one shown and came with a saw cut into the wood from one of the cut out sections. quirks that make it handmade i suppose but at full price i would probably have returned it

Service This was first class service. Immediate invoicing, communication throughout the dispatching and delivery process and chance to feedback after items had been with me for a few days. Can't fault anything Product I love this mirror. It bounces light around the room and adds contrast and depth to my interior design. I have had a few compliments on it already and it has only been in the house a few days. I love the grey and blue overtones of the wooded areas.

I love the mirror, though it does have a small saw cut in the wrong place. However, this is not really visible, so am happy to hang it on the wall (when I can get my husband to drill a hole for me!) I did have to wait quite a long time from ordering to delivery, but I was aware of this from the start, so not really a problem.

Love the look of this and it was exceptionally well packaged. The only reason I haven't given five stars is due to the excessive wait from payment to delivery and the mirror itself was very dirty/dusty- owing to its carvings it is very difficult to clean and was obviously dirty before the carving was applied.
